Box Leo is the 5th best 7yo in the world

Terese and Regina Örup’s Box Leo truly put his best foot forward in the cross country and jumping phases to play catch-up after a tense dressage test. He was one of only four horses to finish on his dressage score, which propelled him to an eventual 5th place. “Leo” has proven very exciting for the future this season, having also won and placed 3rd in CIC** classes!

Double nominations at the Swedish Equestrian Gala!

Ludwig is delighted to have two nominations for the Swedish Equestrian Gala in November:

  • Performance of the year: with the Eventing Team for their Silver Medal at the European Championships. “A superb performance and genuine team-building that lead all the way to a medal. Horsemanship, quality in all disciplines and 100% clear cross country rounds did the trick. A winning Swedish effort that oozes respect!! 
  • Horse for the Future: Therese and Regina Örup’s Box Leo: A complete horse built for eventing with good movement, jumping technique and the temperament that is needed for the top level. Together with Ludwig Svennerstal has Box Leo claimed his place at the top in all of his international starts and won a two-star this spring. Now this duo will challenge the world at the Young Horse World Championships for 7 year old horses.

Bally Quantos completes Boekelo

New ride Bally Quantos, who belongs to Henrik Adnervik, has really impressed this week at Boekelo CCIO***. Having only known each other for a couple of months and contested two OI’s (both of which “Bally” placed in the top-5) previously, this was a big step for their partnership. Bally started off with a new 3* personal best of 44.4 in dressage, and jumped a super clear round across the country, which proved no mean feat on a very tough track. On the final day a miscommunication led to two poles falling, but nonetheless Bally has gained both his WEG and 4* qualification!
