Ludwig and Franzipan to the Europeans
15 August, 2015
Olympic Eventing rider Ludwig Svennerstål has been selected to represent the Swedish Championship team at the European Championship in Blair Castle, Scotland, September 10-13th, 2015.
Badgerstown, United Kingdom – August 15, 2015
Svennerstål has been selected to represent the Swedish eventing team together with Sara Algotsson Ostholt with Reality 39, Johan Lundin with Johnny Cash, Niklas Lindbäck with Cendrillon, Anna Nilsson with Luron and Louise Svensson Jähde with Viva.
Svennerstål about the selection: “I’m very excited to have been selected and I’m very much looking forward to represent Sweden at the European Championships, and to help get an Olympic Qualifier.”
“I will be riding my other horse Franzipan, as sadly King Bob sustained a minor sprain in Aachen, which is a real shame as I would have liked to bring him to Blair. But of course, his well being is the main priority and we have therefore taken the decision not to start him. However, I’m confident that Franzipan will do her utmost best, as even though she doesn’t have a lot of experience at this level, she really rose to the occasion in the Chatsworth 3* where it was over 80 entrants and in the highly contested Bramham 3* too. I’m confident that we will be able to give a good performance,” he adds.
Before arriving at Svennerstål’s, Franzipan has been ridden and competed at amateur level and she’s seven eights Irish thoroughbred.
